Meet the campsite
Family campsite located 250m from the beach of Cala Bassa, in a unique enclave surrounded by nature that preserves the essence of the original Ibiza. Since 1958 the same family has maintained and modernized the campsite, being the 3rd and 4th generation the current managers.

who are we?
A bit of history
The Cala Bassa campsite was officially opened in 1958 and was fully completed in 1962. At that time, visitors were Americans attracted by the “hippie phenomenon,” British, German, Dutch, and, of course, Spanish. It was a very Ibizan-style establishment; there was a small corral for the animals, the campsite was open, and it was a convenient stopover for the beach. The campsite bar was a meeting point for local residents, as well as for tourists staying there, a fact that remains the case today.
Little by little, changes have been introduced, such as the computerization of customer entrance management, as the number of visitors has increased. Facilities have also been improved, and services such as electrical connections at the pitches, hot water at the facilities, water outlets, and, more recently, Wi-Fi have been added.
Over the years, the Ribas family has built a loyal following of guests, some of whom have spent their holidays at the Cala Bassa campsite for over 30 years. The peaceful, family-friendly atmosphere surrounded by nature is what our guests are looking for.

Camping Cala Bassa is located in a privileged natural area, very close to Cala Bassa beach. It covers an area of between 9,000 and 10,000 square meters and offers rental services for mobile homes, bungalows, Bengali tents, and pitches for camper vans and motor homes, some with electricity and water connections. In addition, there is a bar-restaurant, a washing machine area, showers and toilets, a grocery store, a barbecue area, a children’s play area, and a service area for discharging grey and black water.
The campsite allows you to enjoy a wonderful vacation surrounded by nature without having to give up the usual comforts of everyday life. Its location in Cala Bassa gives this resort a wonderful sense of tranquility, as well as spectacular scenery. The campsite has a great family atmosphere. The Cala Bassa area is beautiful; you can take walks between Cala Bassa and Cala Conta which are a joy. People come here to relax and find themselves; there’s no stress.
